A 23-year-old man has been arrested for the alleged stabbing death of his own brother in Selma on Monday.

SELMA, Calif. (KFSN) — A man has been arrested for the stabbing death of his own brother in Selma.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office says 23-year-old Jose Miranda Jr. of Selma has been booked into the Fresno County Jail on a charge of murder.

Shortly before 11 a.m. Monday, authorities were called to a home in the area of East Saginaw Way and Thesta in Selma.

When they arrived, they found 19-year-old Diego Miranda suffering from multiple stab wounds.

He was later pronounced dead at the scene and Jose was taken into custody.

What led up to the deadly confrontation has yet to be released by authorities.
