
A man in his late 30s was stabbed near Belmont and Sierra Vista Tuesday evening, Fresno police said.

A stabbing at a Fresno intersection was swiftly resolved Tuesday evening.
Police said a stabbing was reported just south of Sierra Vista and Belmont avenues around 6:45 p.m.
A man in his late 30s was stabbed multiple times in his upper body following an altercation with a suspect near the intersection. Officers said the victim is in stable condition.
After the call, police said the suspect waved down responding officers to turn himself in.
The investigation is ongoing, and officers are looking for a motive to determine what charges the suspect is facing.
