(INSIDE CALIFORNIA POLITICS) — Republican Congressmen in California are scrambling to secure their future seats after Proposition 50 was overwhelmingly approved by voters in last week’s special election. Representative Kevin Kiley (R-Rocklin) joined the show to discuss the fallout from that election and told host Nikki Laurenzo he does not know which district he’ll run for in 2026.

Billionaire activist and former Democratic presidential candidate Tom Steyer also joined the program to discuss Prop 50 after spending millions of dollars in support of the ballot measure. According to a Politico report, Steyer’s spending reportedly irked Governor Gavin Newsom’s “Yes on 50” campaign because his messaging differed from their own. Steyer also weighed in on the California governor’s race and whether he’s considering a run for office.
