I fervently hope that all U.S. citizens are paying attention to what is taking place right before our eyes. President Trump’s erosion of our constitutional rights is gaining ground exponentially. Congressional approval is not sought or seen as necessary for tariffs, wars and alterations to the physical governmental structures as well as our written governmental structures in the form of our used-to-be sacred Constitution.
He gave us fair warning during his 2024 campaign, when he said on many occasions, “You won’t have to vote anymore.” Are we going to give up the last bastion of our democracy to assuage an out-of-control autocrat, who would choose who our leaders are to be, instead of us choosing them? Are you ready to give up your voting rights?
