Police are investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital Saturday morning in Fresno.
Officers with the Fresno Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter activation at Pilibos Park near Lane and Winery avenues just before 3 a.m., Fresno Police Lt. James Rossetti said.
Before officers arrived, police received another call reporting a person with a gunshot wound at a nearby apartment complex.
Officers arrived at the complex and learned that a family member had already taken the victim to the hospital.
The victim was listed in critical but stable condition, Rossetti said.
Police said the victim is not cooperating with investigators.
Anyone with information should call the police at 559-621-7000.
