A Wixom man is facing multiple felony charges for allegedly having child pornography on his cell phone.
David Grosh, 27, is in the Oakland County Jail with bond set at $500,000 following his arraignment Monday on three counts each of aggravated child sexually abusive activity and use of a computer to commit a crime. According to the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office, Auburn Hills police discovered hundreds of images and videos of child sexual abuse — including some depicting prepubescent children — while executing a search warrant for his phone as part of a separate investigation.
Grosh can be released from jail if he posts 10% of the bond in cash or surety.

“Every image uncovered represents unspeakable abuse of young children,” Prosecutor Karen McDonald stated in a news release. “This defendant’s alleged activity makes him complicit in that abuse. Holding him accountable helps protect the next child from becoming a victim.”
Grosh’s next court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 6 for a probable cause conference in 52-3 District Court. A preliminary exam is set for a week later.
“I am proud of our investigators and the hard work that they put into this case,” added Auburn Hills Police Chief Ryan Gagnon. “What otherwise was a simple embezzlement investigation, turned into uncovering disturbing images and content that the suspect possessed. I would also like to thank the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office and Wixom Police Department for their assistance in this investigation.”
Aggravated child sexually abusive activity is punishable by up to 25 years in prison and/or a fine of up to $125,000. Use of a computer to commit a crime is punishable by up to 20 years in prison and/or a fine of up to $20,000.
