The Buchanan and Clovis North girls volleyball teams are tied atop the Tri-River Athletic Conference standings at 2-0 following the Central Section’s latest league realignment, which took effect July 1.
The realignment shuffled several teams across the Fresno area.
San Joaquin Memorial joined the TRAC, while Central East, which previously competed in the TRAC, moved to the County/Metro Athletic Conference.
Here is how the schools in the Fresno area are aligned under the North Yosemite Athletic Conference:
Tri-River Athletic Conference (TRAC): Buchanan, Clovis, Clovis North, Clovis East, Clovis West, San Joaquin Memorial.
County/Metro Athletic Conference (CMAC): Sanger, Bullard, Garza, Hoover, Central East, Edison.
North Yosemite League (NYL): Madera South, Torres, Madera, Sunnyside, Sanger West.
Valley Athletic League (VAL): Central, Clovis South, Fresno, McLane, Roosevelt.
