Two people were injured in a suspected two-vehicle DUI crash in Fresno on Wednesday night.
The crash happened at 11 p.m. at Herndon Avenue and Van Ness Boulevard.
Police said one vehicle was traveling eastbound on Herndon at 50 mph when another vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed rear-ended it.
Police said the driver in the first vehicle lost consciousness before waking up and pinned in. The driver of the first vehicle was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition.
The driver of the second vehicle is suspected of DUI and was booked into Fresno County jail on felony DUI and an enhancement for inflicting bodily injury during a felony.
