‘Hocus Pocus’ Free Spooky Movie Night

Bring blankets or low chairs to sit and watch ‘Hocus Pocus’ at the Carnitas’ Snack Shack. Admission to this all-ages event is free with food or drink purchase.
Sounds of the Square: Fall Concert Series

La Mesa Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest returns this weekend, bringing three days of authentic German-inspired fun, live entertainment, food, and community celebration to the heart of La Mesa Village.
North Park Book Fair
10 a.m. – 5 p.m. | Free Admission
The fair will feature an array of book vendors, costume contests, kids’ story time, and food/drink vendors.
Mexican tall ship tour
10 a.m. to 8 p.m.| Free admission
The tall ship the Mexican Navy uses as a training vessel that sailed into San Diego Bay and is open and the public to visit.
Balboa Park Tours: Inez Grant Parker Memorial Rose Garden
10 a.m. – 11 a.m. | Free Admission
Explore Balboa Park’s Inez Grant Parker Memorial Rose Garden. The garden features over 1,700 roses. The 60-minute tours leave the Visitors Center at 10 a.m. Suggested donation: $5.
Line Dance Workshop
7 p.m. – 9 p.m. | $12
Join Bryan of Wild Moon Country Dance for an evening of line dancing. Bryan will lead through beginner and intermediate line dance lessons.

Halloween Spooktacular
Every weekend through Nov. 2 at SeaWorld San Diego | Included with park admission
This year’s Spooktacular has interactive activities, trick-or-treat stations, and a pumpkin patch.
Howl-O-Scream San Diego
Through Nov. 1 | 7 p.m. at SeaWorld San Diego | $45+
The fifth annual Howl-O-Scream is back in San Diego for this Halloween season. Visitors can experience haunted horses, scare zones, and more. This is a separately ticketed nighttime event.
Multicultural Festival Day

Come to Market Creek Plaza & Amphitheater to experience a variety of cultures through food, music, dance, and art.
