RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The Nevada football team will host San Jose State this Saturday, seeking their first conference win of the season.
The game will be at 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 15.
The matchup will be Nevada’s Salute to Service game, where the Wolf Pack will honor and recognize local veterans. Kids will also be able to enter the game for free.
Nevada leads the all-time series 23-12-2, though the Spartans have won three of the last four meetings. This will be the first matchup between the two to take place in Reno since the Wolf Pack won 27-24 in 2021.
San Jose State is coming off a 26-16 loss to Air Force.
The Spartans currently have the top passing offense in the country, averaging 332.6 yards through the air per game.
Their passing attack is led by Walter Eget, who has passed for a national best 2,941 yards and 17 touchdowns. Meanwhile wide receiver Danny Scudero leads all FBS receivers in yards with 1,126 alongside 68 catches and 10 touchdowns.
San Jose State is 3-8 on the season.
