Anaheim opens its regular season against a familiar opponent after eliminating Vegas in the second round of last season’s Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Ducks swept all three regular-season meetings with the Golden Knights last year before carrying that success into the postseason. Anaheim returns a young core led by Leo Carlsson, Cutter Gauthier and Beckett Sennecke, but will begin the season without Troy Terry, who has been placed on long-term injured reserve.

Vegas comes in after opening the season with a 5-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks, taking a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals from Victor Olofsson and Trevor Connelly. The Blackhawks would cut the lead to 3-2 early in the third period on a goal by Patrick Kane, but Vegas pulled away late. Jack Eichel recorded a goal and two assists in the win, while Mark Stone also scored and Carter Hart stopped 24 of 26 shots.

This is a great NHL matchup that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
