SAN FRANCISCO — Soledad Fayos Capilla played in singles to close out the San José State women’s tennis team’s run at the Battle in the Bay Tournament on Sunday afternoon.

Fayos Capilla fell in a tight three-set contest against Saint Mary’s Stella Remander, 4-6, 6-4, [3-10].

UP NEXT: San José State will return at full strength to compete in the ITA Regional Championships, set for Oct. 8-11 at Stanford.
