FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — The Woodward Park Dog Park will be closing starting Monday, October 5, for about a month.
The city is closing the dog park to allow the Parks, After School, Recreation and Community Services Department to do some turf maintenance.
This will include overseeding and fertilization, which are essential to keeping the dog park in great condition.
It also helps ensure a more enjoyable environment for all visitors and their dogs.
If you are looking for alternative dog parks, you can head to the City of Fresno’s website for a map.
The park is expected to re-open in the early weeks of November.
