A daughter of Rep. Nancy Pelosi says she’s running for political office. But it’s not for the seat that some may have expected. Christine Pelosi will run for Scott Wiener’s state Senate seat in San Francisco, as Wiener pursues her mother’s congressional seat next year. If Wiener wins, his seat would open up. She said she plans to run in the 2028 election.
