A motorcycle rider who was fatally injured in a collision with a bus in the Harbor City area of Los Angeles was identified by authorities Monday.
Diego Quiceno Quiceno, 34, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The crash occurred about 7:22 p.m. Sunday at the intersection where Vermont and Normandie avenues meet, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The motorcyclist was traveling north on Vermont Avenue when he collided with an MTA bus that was making a left turn near Ken Malloy Harbor Regional Park, police said.
No one on the bus was injured.
It was not immediately clear whether speed or intoxication was suspected as a factor in the crash.
