Crews are battling a structure fire in Los Angeles’ Chinatown neighborhood on Thursday evening, officials said.
The blaze broke out along North Main Street, just north of downtown LA, around 7 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Officials say it started as an outside fire that extended into a one-story commercial building.
The Los Angeles Police Department said traffic was expected to be severely impacted and urged drivers to be cautious.
It’s unclear what caused the fire.
This is a developing story.
