Students who want to make a difference can find inspiration and develop their ideas through the LA Conservancy’s Community Leadership Boot Camp: Next Generation.

This free program gives students in grades 9–12 across Los Angeles County the opportunity to explore L.A.’s historic places, connect with professionals, and turn their ideas into advocacy-focused projects. It helps students build skills, confidence, and connections to their local community.

This year, students will explore women’s landmarks and history in Los Angeles. They’ll learn about places connected to women’s contributions and consider whose stories are represented—or missing—from L.A.’s historic landscape.

Program Dates:

Thursday, November 12, 2026 (Via Zoom)

Attendance at all five sessions is required. There is no cost to participate. Students who complete the program will receive a certificate to include on their resumes and college applications.
