Sybille Zimmer Pivato
OBITUARY
Sybille Pivato (nee Zimmer) passed away peacefully on October 3, 2026 at the age of 78. She was born in Backnang, Germany, immigrating to the US at 8 years old. She grew up in the western suburbs of Cleveland, OH, attending Cleveland State University where she met and married her husband. They were married for 53 years. In 1991, she moved to Schaumburg, IL, where she lived for 30 years until relocating to San Jose, CA in 2022 to be near her only daughter. She enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles, and creating a loving home for her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Johann and Lore (Zimmer). She is survived by her husband David, daughter Nicole (Aaron), and grandsons Max and Bryce.
