Tickets will go on sale to the general public Saturday for Aerosmith’s two concerts at the Hollywood Bowl later this month, featuring Guns N’ Roses and an array of other rock stars as the band returns to the stage more than two years after ending touring because of lead singer Steven Tyler’s vocal injury.

The general ticket sale will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday for the “California, Dream On: Aerosmith & Friends” concerts, scheduled for Oct. 29 and Nov. 1.

The shows will feature Aerosmith performing with a lineup of guest artists including The Black Crowes, Run-DMC, Heart, Billy Idol, Sammy Hagar, Slash and Tom Morello.

Other scheduled performers include Andrew Watt, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan, Eric Church, Alice in Chains members Jerry Cantrell and Mike Inez, Marcus King, Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, Train singer Pat Monahan, Steve Stevens and Godsmack singer Sully Erna.

The lineup will vary by night, with final lineups to be announced at or near showtime, according to organizers. Additional artists and surprise guests are also expected to be announced.

Aerosmith announced the shows Wednesday, two days after teasing them in a video showing Tyler placing letters on the Hollywood Bowl marquee with photographer Ross Halfin.

“It’s `Aerosmith and Friends,’ Ross … Aerosmith and Friends!” Tyler says in the video as the dates Oct. 29 and Nov. 1 are displayed on the marquee.

The concerts mark a return to the stage for the veteran rock band, which canceled its farewell tour in 2024, saying it could not continue after Tyler sustained a vocal injury only a few shows into the tour’s 2023 launch.

Tyler has since performed at benefit shows and awards ceremonies, but Aerosmith has not resumed touring.

Formed in Boston in 1970, Aerosmith became one of rock’s most successful acts with songs including “Dream On,” “Sweet Emotion,” “Walk This Way,” “Janie’s Got a Gun” and “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.”

The band was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2001 and has won four Grammy Awards.

A Citi cardmember presale began Thursday, followed by additional presales ahead of Saturday’s general ticket sale.
