The 1,141-square-foot store introduces Vivaia’s latest retail concept, designed around a bright, product-focused environment where shoppers can discover the brand’s footwear and experience its comfort-focused designs in person.

The new location features a selection of Vivaia’s signature styles alongside Re:Work, the first Fall/Winter collection under creative director Alan Buanne. The collection reinterprets traditional workwear silhouettes through updated shapes, materials and colourways, while maintaining the brand’s emphasis on comfort.

Founded in 2020, Vivaia offers footwear through its direct-to-consumer business across more than 61 countries and regions. The brand incorporates recycled and sustainably produced materials into its designs as part of its focus on combining comfort, style and sustainability.

The opening follows a period of international retail growth for Vivaia, which surpassed 100 stores worldwide in 2026. California represents the next step in the brand’s U.S. expansion, complementing its e-commerce business as it looks to connect with more consumers through physical retail.

The company has also increased its visibility in the U.S. market through fashion and entertainment partnerships. Most recently, Vivaia tapped fashion figure Jenna Lyons and Emmy-nominated actress and comedian Meg Stalter to front its Fall/Winter 2026 campaign.
