D. Coming off your summer internship that just ended, you couldn’t tell the difference between summer and the school year.

2. What was the most important item you packed for this year?

A. The trusty boots you purchased before your first year — an outfit never feels complete without them.

B. That one hobby or project you keep meaning to pick up — maybe this is the year you finally learn the guitar.

C. Your car — now you can go on spontaneous trips without worrying about the trolley schedule.

D. A TI-84 calculator — every class you’re taking, including that General Education writing course, somehow requires it.

3. What was your move-in experience like?

D. This campus has events?

Mostly A’s: Throw on your trendiest boots and grab an overpriced pumpkin chai latte — it’s time to go all out with a trip to Julian! Curating an aesthetic is effortless for you, so you’ll use the antique stores and apple-picking orchards as photo opportunities for your next Instagram post. Don’t forget to pack lunch to enjoy the local picnic sites and truly embrace the small town vibe. Although you’ve probably already scoured social media for the perfect itinerary, consider checking out Lifestyle’s trip guide to Julian for some extra additions.

Mostly B’s: As someone with an eye for all things art and culture, there’s no better way for you to revel in autumn than a trip to the historic Old Town. Take in the Fiesta de Reyes Dia de los Muertos celebration through its creative local vendors, colorful art displays and stunning marigold decor. As someone socially active at UC Socially Dead, you’ll be amazed by the sheer liveliness of the festival — and the quality of the food in comparison to the average Wolftown burrito.

Mostly C’s: You like to live on the edge. Some may call this a stressful lifestyle — you think it’s spontaneous! Luckily for you, The Haunted Trail at Balboa Park allows you to buy tickets up to 15 minutes before entering the maze. If you’ve survived going to Scripps Beach an hour before your class in Warren Lecture Hall, then the killer clowns and bloodthirsty zombies running around the maze shouldn’t scare you. For you, the scariest part of this experience won’t be the whirring of fake chainsaws, but rather conquering the traffic getting to Balboa Park after leaving 30 minutes late.

Mostly D’s: Although it’s almost sweater weather, you’re anything but chill. While your insane schedule might not allow for a full fall outing, a laid-back movie marathon with your friends will do the trick — or treat. If you want to go the extra mile, make the trek to Trader Joe’s to buy some festive snacks! “Twilight,” “Hocus Pocus” and “Corpse Bride” are some great movie options to get started. And, since you’re already channeling your inner Rory Gilmore with your current study schedule, end off the night with a few “Gilmore Girls” episodes — specifically Season 2 to witness prime Jess Mariano.
