Two suspects in a shooting earlier this year that injured San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Keion White made their first appearance in court on Wednesday at San Francisco’s Hall of Justice.
Curtis Green, an Irvine resident, and Gregory Walker, a Mountain House resident, are two of four suspects San Francisco police have identified in a Mission District shooting in February during a Super Bowl party at nightclub Dahlia Lounge.
Walker is being charged with assault with a semi-automatic weapon, and Green with brandishing a firearm. The court ordered Green released from custody due to the fact that his charges are misdemeanors, while Walker, who faces felony charges, is being held without bail. They both postponed entering a plea and will return to court for arraignment on Monday.
Police Chief Derrick Lew said the investigation “expanded rapidly,” with other agencies in Stockton, Los Angeles, Irvine and Atlanta, Georgia, assisting the investigation.

“It involved over 50 search warrants and assistance from over 250 law enforcement personnel,” Lew said at a press conference at SFPD headquarters on Wednesday.
Lew said Atlanta police arrested 38-year-old Marquis Davis in his house and the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Antoine Washington in Stockton on the morning of Oct. 7. Later that day, 35-year-old Green was arrested in Irvine. On Oct. 9, the Los Angeles Police Department arrested 36-year-old Walker.
District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said Walker faces allegations that he shot his firearm at White. Walker’s private attorney, Jeff Wozniak, said he plans to get Walker released.
Police said their investigation is ongoing and they have not found a connection between the rapper and the suspects.
