ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Police are investigating early Thursday after a man was shot outside a gas station in Oakland City the night before.
Officers responded to a shooting at 1117 Lee St. SW, the address of a Texaco gas station, about 10 p.m. Wednesday and learned the victim had already been taken to the hospital.
Once at the hospital, officers found the man with a gunshot wound. He was alert, conscious and breathing, police said.
Investigators found several shell casings at the scene. Police have not released any information about a suspect or motive at this time.
