SAN FRANCISCO (TNND) — Four men have been arrested in connection with the shooting of San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Keion White at a Super Bowl party in February, the San Francisco Police Department said.
White was hosting a private party at the Mission District nightclub Dahlia when he was shot in the ankle just after 4 a.m. on Feb. 9, police said in a news release. He was taken to a hospital for surgery.
Police Chief Derrick Lew said at a news conference that the arrests were made between Oct. 7 and 9 with help from law enforcement agencies in Atlanta, Stockton, Irvine and Los Angeles.
The arrests were part of Operation “D-Line,” a months-long investigation that involved more than 50 search warrants and the work of more than 250 law enforcement personnel nationwide, Lew said.
Police said they obtained no-bail arrest warrants for the four suspects. Marquis Davis, 38, was arrested at his Atlanta home on Oct. 7. Officers said they found illegal firearms, 820 grams of MDMA, 1,026 grams of methamphetamine, 979 grams of cocaine and 3,842 grams of fentanyl there.
Also on Oct. 7, Antoine Washington, 36, was arrested in Stockton by SFPD officers and San Joaquin County sheriff’s deputies. Police said they found a loaded firearm, more than 120 oxycodone pills and about $6,691 in cash.

Curtis Green, 35, was also arrested that day without incident by Irvine police. Gregory Walker, 36, of Mountain House, was arrested by Los Angeles police on Oct. 9.
District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said prosecutors would seek to hold Walker without bail, citing the public safety risk they say he poses. He is expected to face charges including assault with a semiautomatic firearm, which prosecutors say he fired, and firearm charges related to his status as a felon.
Green faces misdemeanor charges of brandishing a firearm and carrying a concealed, loaded gun in public, Jenkins said. Washington and Davis are not yet in local custody and will be charged once they are brought to San Francisco.
