FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — Internationally recognized independent rapper LaRussell is bringing his backyard pop-up shows to Fresno.
The Vallejo native runs his career and these shows through his collective and non-profit Good Compenny.
His goal is to amplify the voices of independent artists and make the music more accessible to fans by using an offer-based pricing system, where fans can propose what they can afford to pay.
We caught up with him ahead of Friday night’s show to talk to him about why it was important to him to come back to Fresno and his mission of giving back.
