Have you seen the well-woven wicker chest on a billboard while driving down La Brea?

It’s marketing for Wicker, the new film about a woman who gets herself a husband made entirely out of wicker. If you’ve been online, you’ve probably heard about it.

Starring Olivia Colman, the film follows an ostracized fisherwoman who hires the local basketmaker to weave her a husband, played by Alexander Skarsgård.

Ahead of the film’s October 22 release, some fans can get in on the fun this weekend: Wicker is hosting a one-day, three-hour merch pop-up in L.A. this weekend.

WICKER FAIRE Merch Pop-Up Details

Day: Saturday, October 17, 2026

Time: 12 to 3 p.m.

Location: Cane & Basket Supply, 1283 S. Cochran Ave.

The pop-up is at Cane & Basket Supply Co., a local business that has been around since 1934 and has been family-run since 1962. Three generations later, they still serve Angelenos’ cane, bamboo and weaving supply needs.

The pop-up will have a village market with vendors, including The Fleuria, Main Street Flower Truck, Queiréme Matcha, Pour Sport Coffee and Hot Jamn Preserves, plus a live performance from Celtic folk band Stepwise.

We recommend getting there early – the first 100 people will get a raffle ticket for a chance to win their very own Wicker Husband standee.

Fans anticipating the film can also catch a one-night-only 4DX screening on October 28.
