Linea Caffe, recognized for its regenerative, organic and quality coffee, opened its third San Francisco location Saturday, near Dolores Park.

The shop, at 3690 18th St., is holding a soft opening with a limited menu that includes its Organic Reserve espresso and single-origin Ethiopia Suke Quto espresso. It will also serve pastries from local businesses including Dynamo Donuts and Neighbor Bakehouse.

The cafe is next to Bi-Rite Creamery and a short walk from Dolores Park. Hours will be 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. during the soft opening until the coffee shop officially opens next week.

Linea Caffe was founded in 2013 by veteran coffee roaster Andrew Barnett. The operation already has a roastery and café on Potrero Hill and a Mission District café.

The coffee reached critical acclaim when the New York Times Wirecutter featured Linea in its 2025 list of favorite coffee subscriptions.

“Before we decided which subscriptions to test for this guide, we ordered the most popular house blends from almost 20 roasters. Linea’s Little Wing wasn’t only my personal favorite of the lot – I declared that it was possibly the most elegant and balanced cup of coffee I’d ever had,” New York Times Wirecutter writer Lesley Stockton wrote.
