Los Angeles City Councilmember Imelda Padilla and an array of officials and community members celebrated the opening of The Pano, a 90-unit permanent supportive housing development for homeless people on Thursday in Panorama City.

Working via the state’s Project Homekey program, LA Family Housing and LAFHBuilds converted a motel and added a new apartment building into the affordable housing complex.

“This new permanent supportive housing development in Panorama City will provide quality homes alongside essential supportive services to help individuals and families transition out of homelessness,” said Padilla in a statement. “Together with our state and local partners, we remain committed to delivering real housing solutions across Los Angeles.”
