Some evacuation orders connected to the Norte Fire were lifted Saturday for parts of San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano, the Orange County Fire Authority said.
The agency announced the full repopulation of San Clemente Zone 13 and a partial repopulation in San Juan Capistrano Zone 10, limited to the Stallion Ridge community, San Juan Hills High School, and the landfill off La Pata.
“Please review the accompanying map for the reopened areas,” the OCFA said in a social media post. “All other evacuation orders remain in effect. Those areas remain threatened due to an active fire line and windy conditions, with a heat advisory also in effect.”
As of early Saturday afternoon, evacuation orders remained in place for San Clemente Zone 12, and San Juan Capistrano Zones 4, 5, and 10A.
Correction: An earlier version of this blog post erroneously stated that all evacuation orders in San Clemente were lifted. The report has been updated.
