SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Maybe your neighborhood isn’t big on candy, or you want to take the little ones trick-or-treating in a fun, family-friendly environment. Luckily, San Diego has plenty of trick-or-treating events for the little ones this Halloween.

Treats in the Suites

On Oct. 21, Frontwave Arena is hosting a family-friendly spook-tacular night filled with activities, candy and festive decor.

From 4 to 7 p.m., families can stroll through decorated suites and celebrate Halloween alongside hundreds of other families and children. Spots are limited and you must RSVP beforehand.

Trick-or-Treat on India Street (Little Italy)

On Sunday, Oct. 25, West Cedar through West Grape Streets will be shut down to vehicle traffic so families can make their way through the heart of Little Italy for trick-or-treating and fun photo ops.

The Piazza della Famiglia will transform into a scene from “The Nightmare Before Christmas” with a 13-foot Jack Skellington and towering pumpkin stacks.

There will also be fall vendors selling fun seasonal finds and a Halloween costume contest hosted by Shake Shack. The event takes place from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Brick-or-Treat at Legoland

While Legoland is technically not in San Diego, it’s still a popular destination for plenty of local families. And if you’re willing to make the drive, the theme park has several events until the end of the month for Halloween, which include candy.

All the Halloween-themed events until Oct. 30 are included with the purchase of a ticket.

Halloween Spooktacular at SeaWorld San Diego

The Halloween festivities have returned to SeaWorld San Diego with the Halloween Spooktacular. Families can participate in the Candy Trail for a trick-or-treating adventure. There’s also an exclusive Trick-or-Treat with Baby Shark, but separate reservations are required.

All the Halloween fun is happening until Nov. 1.

Birch Aquarium Halloween Aglow

Kids can trick-or-treat their way around the sealife at Halloween Aglow at the Birch Aquarium on Friday, Oct. 23, and Saturday, Oct. 24. They’ll also get to watch an underwater pumpkin carving show, dance to festive music and play with slime.

Tickets are about $60 for adults and $50 for kids, with discounts offered for aquarium members.
