Three people, including a child, were injured Saturday afternoon when a small plane crashed onto a roadway in Northern California, according to fire officials.
The crash was reported shortly after 3 p.m. near Capitol Expressway and Excalibur Drive in San Jose, where a single-engine propeller plane went down on the street. Dashcam video shows the moment the plane came down, clipped an overpass and landed in the roadway.
The San Jose Fire Department said two adults and one child were aboard the plane. All three were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No one on the ground was hurt.
