Kick off spooky-season with this city-wide campaign, just in time for Halloween
The popular food-delivery service, DoorDash, is coming to Los Angeles just in time for fall festivities with their new Halloween interactive takeover. DoorDash began its delivery-truck route on Oct. 15, and customers can expect attractions up until Oct. 31.
Starting their tour on the streets of L.A., locals will find themselves face to face with custom-wrapped trucks distributing Halloween giveaways and gift cards. As of Oct. 15, the trucks will be making pit stops at Cinespia at Hollywood Forever and the WeHo Carnival all the way through Oct. 31.
The tour’s main attraction will take place on Oct. 23 as DoorDash plans on bringing an interactive spirit board to the Venice Beach boardwalk, spelling out the ultimate supernatural takeover of L.A. Customers will be able to interact with the board, which will later reveal in-app deals and coupon codes for passersby.
*The Venice activation will be open from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.*
DoorDash’s goal is to bring Halloween to all corners of Los Angeles by making everyday locations into a more spooky experience. By turning typical SoCal coastal views into a supernatural destination, the brand is hoping to build anticipation for its city-wide “In Case Of” campaign.
This experience will bring Halloween surprises and everyday essentials to some of the biggest celebrations in Los Angeles.
