Five men suspected of burglarizing numerous homes across Los Angeles County are in custody, the Los Angeles Police Department announced Tuesday.

The men were arrested for a string of burglaries that targeted homes in the Tarzana and Woodland Hills area in February of 2026, according to the LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division.

“During these incidents, the suspects forced entry into the residences by smashing open the rear sliding glass doors,” LAPD said. “Once inside, the suspects ransacked the residences, taking jewelry, designer purses, glasses and clothing.”

Police initially identified and arrested 21-year-old Manuel Nava and 22-year-old Michael Lewis in connection to the burglaries. As the investigation continued, police also identified and arrested three more suspects: 18-year-old Brett Bailey, 18-year-old Elijah Smith and 32-year-old Tonice Davis.

While serving search and arrest warrants, LAPD detectives seized numerous pieces of evidence related to the crimes, including hand-held radios, masks, gloves, Wi-Fi jammers, two vehicles and a cache of weapons and ammunition.

The men are also suspected of burglarizing homes in Downey, according to police. LAPD released booking photos of all five suspects because investigators say they are likely responsible for more burglaries in the Los Angeles area. Anyone who may have been burglarized by these suspects is asked to contact LAPD immediately.

The men are being held on bail ranging from $50,000 to $165,000 for burglary and attempted burglary charges. No additional details have been released about the case at this time.
