The City of Coronado is seeking community input on potential improvements to Glenn Curtiss Park (Palm Park) as it prepares to apply for funding through the Statewide Park Development and Community Revitalization Program.
The first of five community planning meetings will be held Saturday, October 24, at Glenn Curtiss Park, and residents are encouraged to attend.
What would make better use of this neighborhood park? Are there recreation opportunities or amenities you’d like to see added? The City wants to hear directly from residents about how they use the park, what they enjoy about it, and what improvements they believe would benefit the community.
The meetings will give neighbors an opportunity to exchange ideas, consider possibilities, and help identify priorities for the City’s grant application. No park design has been selected, and grant funding is not guaranteed. Bring a friend, bring the kids, and most importantly, bring your ideas!
Four additional community planning meetings are scheduled through early November for those unable to attend the first gathering. For meeting dates, times, locations, and an opportunity to submit ideas online, visit Comment Coronado at www.projectcoronado.org/GlennCurtiss
