SAN JOSE, Calif. — San José State University Athletics today unveiled its comprehensive marketing and gameday campaign for the upcoming 2026-27 men’s basketball season: “A New Era of Spartan Basketball”. Single-game tickets, for all non-conference and Mountain West home games, are on sale now for a fully transformed gameday experience at Provident Credit Union Event Center, featuring a brand new roster, custom court design and elevated fan experiences. 

Fueled by a historic philanthropic investment announced earlier this year, the program is delivering a complete overhaul of its home court experience. Beyond an upgraded roster led by high-profile additions and proven core leaders, fans stepping into the Provident Credit Union Event Center this season will experience a brand-new custom court design paired with upgraded arena production.

The “A New Era” campaign positions Spartan Hoops as a must-see, high-energy live event destination in the South Bay. Upgraded in-game features include:

Upgraded Arena Atmosphere: Specialized sports DJ and supplemental speaker system to keep the energy going all game long.
Brand-New Custom Court: A newly designed court inside Provident Credit Union Event Center, providing a modern, sleek stage for Mountain West action.
National-Caliber Halftime Acts & Giveaways: High-profile entertainment, including world-class halftime acts like The Amazing Sladek (Jan. 9), Aim High Canines (Feb. 20) and premium collectibles for both SJSU students and fans such as replica jerseys (Jan. 23), drawstring backpacks, t-shirts and more.

Our goal is to create an atmosphere that our students, alumni, families and community are excited to experience and want to come back to all season long.”
