United Airlines will launch daily, year-round nonstop flights between Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks and San Francisco International Airport next spring, the Connecticut Airport Authority announced Friday.
The new service, which will begin on March 28, 2027, will depart Bradley at 6:30 p.m. daily, providing Connecticut travelers with direct access to the San Francisco Bay Area, a major center for technology, business and tourism.
The route also will provide connections to destinations in the western United States, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and other Pacific destinations through United’s San Francisco hub.
The addition expands United’s service at Bradley to five of its eight U.S. hubs.
The announcement follows United’s introduction of nonstop flights between Bradley and Houston earlier this year.
United also operates nonstop flights from Bradley to Chicago, Denver and Washington, D.C., through Dulles International Airport.
The airline served nearly 725,000 passengers at Bradley in 2025, the airport authority said.
The new route adds another West Coast destination to Bradley’s growing network of nonstop flights as airport officials seek to expand service and attract travelers who might otherwise use larger airports in the region.
