Two Fresno police officers were injured Sunday night when a suspected DUI driver crashed into their patrol vehicle in Fresno.
The crash happened at 10:15 p.m. at Tulare and A streets.
Fresno police Lt. Alfonso Castillo said the officers were riding together on Tulare Street when a man driving a truck failed to stop at the posted stop sign at A Street.
The truck collided with and sideswiped the patrol vehicle, which then crashed into a fence.
Castillo said the driver allegedly failed to stop at the intersection.
The officers’ injuries are not considered serious, Castillo said. Both were taken to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. The man was also taken to the hospital for his injuries.
Police are investigating the crash.
