FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — Four people have been taken to the hospital after two cars collided and rolled over in Fresno County.
The California Highway Patrol says just after 3:30 p.m. Saturday, officers received a call for a multi-vehicle crash on Marks and Lincoln avenues. That’s just east of the community of Easton.
Officers say a red Ford Focus was traveling north on Marks when the driver failed to stop at the intersection’s stop sign.
The Focus collided with a grey Lexus SUV traveling east on Lincoln, causing both vehicles to overturn into a dirt field.
A power pole was struck while the cars rolled over but was left standing.
Each vehicle was occupied by two adults. All four were taken to Community Regional Medical Center with moderate to major injuries.
The intersection of Marks and Lincoln remains closed but is expected to open within the next hour.
