The event includes a scavenger hunt, live music, food trucks, an artisan market with local vendors, a classic car show, live comedy and more. The scavenger hunt kicks off at Tahoe Elementary at 9 a.m., with children’s music and drumming beginning at 10:30 a.m. in Tahoe Park. St. Andrews AME Church 175th AnniversaryThe “Oldest Black Church on the West Coast” is celebrating a major milestone this weekend— 175 years of service. On Saturday, the church will showcase a living museum acting out the lives of the founders from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. On Sunday, the church will hold its Church Service Celebration at 10:30 a.m.Turkey GiveawayMosaic Life Church on 77th Street is hosting a community turkey giveaway from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday. The church plans to give out 250 turkeys to those in need in the community.Veterans Grocery GiveawayVFW Auxiliary Post 8985, located on 4th Street, is supporting local veterans in need this holiday season with a grocery giveaway at 1 p.m. Sunday. Each veteran will receive a bag of groceries filled with all the fixings for a holiday meal. Punk Rock Flea MarketVendors will be selling original art, clothing, jewelry, music and more. KCRA Turkey Drive
