Division 3: (4) Mar Vista (17-12) vs. (3) Sage Creek (16-8), 11 a.m.
Preview: Sage Creek is spearheaded by goalie Curtis Goodrich and coached by Carlsbad alum Mike Mulvey. Tanner Kavanaugh paces Mar Vista, which moved down from Division 2 this season. The Mariners have reached their first final since 2018 in Division 2.
Division 2: (2) Grossmont (24-6) vs. (1) Oceanside (26-4), 1 p.m.
Preview: Freshman Ozzy Wayne helps key Oceanside, which appears in its first final after losing its playoff opener a year ago. Grossmont has rebounded from last year’s 6-16 record behind goalie Carson Hall. The Foothillers last appeared in the finals when they won the Division 1 title in 2017.
Open Division fifth-place game:Â (7) Poway (16-10) vs. (5) Carlsbad (17-11), 3 p.m.
Preview: The teams vie for the last local berth in the Southern California Regionals. Also advancing are the four Open Division semifinalists and the three other division champions.
Division 1:Â (2) Torrey Pines (16-11) vs. (1) Canyon Crest Academy (22-7), 5 p.m.
Preview: Both schools have moved from the Open Division this year after dropping playoff openers last season. Canyon Crest seeks its second Division 1 title in five years. Torrey Pines, sparked by Julian Breeze, goes for its first title in its first finals appearance since 2006.
Open Division : (2) La Jolla (22-4) vs. Â (1) Cathedral Catholic (24-4), 7 p.m.
Preview: It’s a finals rematch between Western League rivals. Cathedral Catholic seeks its third straight title behind Kenly Braylen Asline, the reigning section player of the year. Tor Martin paces the attack and George Gaynor holds forth in goal for La Jolla, which seeks its first Open Division championship. Cathedral Catholic beat the Vikings in both regular-season meetings.
