FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — A person has been found dead on the side of a Fresno County road.
Deputies say they received a call of someone possibly suffering from a gunshot wound around 11:30 a.m. Friday.
Nearly an hour after the call, a CHP officer assisting Fresno County deputies made his way to Old Auberry Road and found a person dead on the side of the road.
Investigators say based on the circumstances, homicide detectives were called to the scene and began an investigation.
The identity of the victim has not been revealed and their cause of death is currently unknown.
Deputies do not have any suspect information at this time.
