Famed Koreatown galbi-jjim spot Sun Nong Dan just expanded west with a new location in Sawtelle. The menu’s the same as in its other locations: find soups like galbi tang and seolleongtang; mandu; and, of course, the famed galbi-jjim, available topped with cheese and torched tableside. Like Sun Nong Dan’s Western Avenue restaurant, the Sawtelle store will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to cater to the post-bar or early morning crowds. Sun Nong Dan joins only a handful of other Korean options in the neighborhood, including Tofu Ya and Seoul Tofu.
