On the ‘Chiefs Wire Podcast Interview Series’, we showcase new players, celebrities, and prominent NFL players with unique takes and stories about the Kansas City Chiefs.

Watch as Senior Writer Ed Easton Jr. sits down with San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle to discuss the growth of Tight End University with Greg Olsen and Chiefs star Travis Kelce.

“I think one of my favorite things is when I get like a vet, like a guy going into year 4, 5, or 6, and they come up to me, Travis (Kelce), or Greg (Olsen), and just go; guys want to say, thanks so much for continuing to include me. I pick something up every single year,” said Kittle regarding the impact of Tight End University. “I mean, in the last year, we had almost 80 guys. I think 20 of the guys have been all five years, and they always appreciate the time we spend together, and then, like, because they’re like, I’m friends with so many more guys in the league, which I thoroughly enjoy. Every game, I get to see a friend across the sidelines. Hopefully, we win, but I still see him and see what’s up.”

Kittle is a multiple-time Pro Bowler and longtime core member of the 49ers franchise.
