A man suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.
Officers dispatched at about 10 p.m. Friday to a report of a shooting in the 5800 block of Locust Avenue located a man with a gunshot wound to the lower body, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Paramedics took him to a hospital.
“The motive and circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown, and the investigation is ongoing,” according to a police statement.
