The Long Beach Police Department was investigating a man’s death Saturday.
Officers responded at 12:47 a.m. Saturday to the area of Atlantic Avenue and 31st Street, where Long Beach Fire Department paramedics had pronounced the man deceased, according to LBPD Sgt. Laurie Barajas.
No further information was available to describe the deceased man or his apparent cause of death.
“The investigation is ongoing,” Barajas said.
