(FOX40.COM) — Multiple agencies responded to a three-vehicle crash in Sacramento that left two people hospitalized on Saturday evening.

According to the Sacramento Fire Department, the crash happened around 5:10 p.m. on the southbound I-5 just north of Garden Highway.

The California Highway Patrol incident page shows that a silver Ford Fusion, a gray Fiat 500 and a gray Nissan Versa were involved in the crash. However, how the crash happened is still being investigated.

Around 6 p.m., the Caltrans CCTV camera showed heavy traffic as agencies continued to work on the scene.
