The Jackalope Art Fair, a popular outdoor market that draws hundreds of artisans and families to Old Pasadena each year, has been rescheduled as Southern California continues to experience widespread rain, according to the event’s official website.
Originally planned for this weekend at Pasadena’s Central Park, organizers announced that the fair will now take place Nov. 22 and 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 275 S. Raymond Ave. Despite the shift, they emphasized that the event typically operates “rain or shine” unless conditions are unsafe.
The fair is known for bringing together more than 200 hand-selected local artisans offering fashion, jewelry, paper goods, home décor, art, photography, specialty foods and other handmade items. Over the years, it has become a curated showcase of independent designers and small businesses, with a mission to connect shoppers directly to the makers behind their crafts.
Families attending can expect a full lineup of free activities presented by the nonprofit Jackalope Gives, including pinwheel decorating and mushroom painting. Other hands-on attractions include custom slime-making, personalized on-the-spot poetry, face painting, live caricatures, hair sparklers, and free custom apparel printing.
Throughout the weekend, visitors can enjoy live music alongside a range of food and drink vendors.
Parking options include nearby surface lots and structures along Raymond Avenue, Fair Oaks Avenue, and Green Street, with organizers recommending the outdoor lot at 150 S. Raymond Ave., which accepts cash only. Visitors arriving by public transit can take the Metro A Line to Del Mar Station, just a two-minute walk from the park.

Travelers coming from out of town can find several accommodations within a mile of the venue, including the Pasadena Inn, Sheraton Pasadena Hotel, Hilton Pasadena and Hotel Dena.
