Bakersfield PD releases crime statistics for the month of October

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department released its crime statistics for the month of October.

In the month of October, the police department received 22,272 911 calls throughout the city of Bakersfield.

Of those calls, four were homicides, 163 were vehicle theft, 41 were robbery, 117 were aggravated assault, 115 were burglary and eight were rapes.

In September, the police department received 21,879 911 calls throughout the city.
