Kern County school districts delayed Tuesday due to weather conditions

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Snow and ice conditions have prompted delays for school districts in Kern County Tuesday, Nov. 18.

The following school districts are delayed by two hours:

El Tejon Unified School District – Snow and/or ice delay

Peak to Peak Mountain Charter in Pine Mountain Club – Snow and/or ice delay

Ridgeview High School – Power outage delay

Golden Valley High School is closed and will resume classes Wednesday, Nov. 19 due to a power outage, according to Alertline. It is unknown if the outage was caused by weather conditions.
