Golden Girls is one of those shows that transcends generations, so if you’re a big fan, you’ll want to visit a new pop-up that’s set to open its doors in San Diego on Wednesday.
The restaurant is called the Golden Girls Christmas Experience, where you can try themed cocktails, a special menu, holiday decor and play GG trivia and buy swag. Fans can even take a selfie in the iconic Golden Girls’ living room.
“So we want people to jump online, book their tickets in advance … it comes with a welcome drink or a mocktail, and on the weekends we’ve got drag brunches,” said GGCE’s Derek Buster. “On the weekdays, we do tea time, we’ve got bingo, we’ve got trivia — we’ve got it all.”
Tickets can be purchased on BucketLister.com or on San Diego Bucket List on Instagram. General admission tickets are 20 bucks per person, plus fees, while other events like drag bunch have higher prices.
The restaurant will be open in Little Italy along Pacific Highway until Jan. 11.
